Knull, the God of Symbiotes is set to cast his dark, tentacle-laden shroud over the Marvel Universe in the upcoming King in Black crossover this January — the next chapter in writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Stegman’s redefining run on Venom and the Klyntar symbiotes — but Knull isn’t the only symbiote-infused supervillain Marvel superheroes will have to worry about.
That’s because there’s going to be a symbiote showdown in the form of Gwen Stacy, AKA Spider-Gwen AKA Gwenom against one of the deadliest, and certainly the craziest symbiote of all time: Carnage. Gwenom vs. Carnage #1 will be written by acclaimed artist Seanan MacGuire and drawn by artist Flaviano.
“I could not be feeling better or more excited right now! You can expect a lot of swinging (and kicking) high, yelling loud, and general chaos,” McGuire said. “I’ve missed Gwen so much, this is really a gift.”

Gwenom vs. Carnage will be part of the King in Black crossover and is set to release this January.
